What is Therapeutic Yoga?

Most people hear "yoga" and picture a studio full of bendy people in matching leggings. That's not what you and I do here.

Therapeutic yoga applies the same clinical reasoning you'd find in a physical therapy clinic — assessing movement patterns, identifying compensations, addressing root causes — but uses yoga postures, breath work, and meditation as the primary tools. And unlike a group class where you're one of thirty, I work directly with you and existing healthcare team: your doctor, your PT, your specialist. We're all rowing in the same direction.

Think of it as PT with a broader toolkit. Or yoga stripped of the performative nonsense and focused entirely on what your body actually needs.
